LIFT Fun Days (for 4-7 year olds!)

This will be a blast for 4-7 year olds! Enrichment games, puzzles, arts& crafts, creative play, outside games, and even some science experiments! Bring your kids for 2 hours of energetic, exciting and creative fun! You can Sign up for one or both Saturdays!

SPACE IS VERY LIMITED WITH THESE FUNDAYS, SO HURRY UP AND ENROLL !

Tuition for LIFT Fun Days: *EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT* If you sign up before June 1st, ONLY $15 dollars for 2 hours of incredible fun and enrichment + $5 dollar supply fee

After June 1st: $20 dollars for 2 hours, +supply fee.


Science Saturdays! (for 4-7, and 8-12 year olds!)

Come each saturday in July and August for an awesome hands on Science Experience.

We will be learning about a range of subjects from chemistry to biology to Anatomy through crazy fun expirements, dissections, games, interactive teaching and much more!

Not only an absolute blast, but also an incredible hands on learning experience.

Learning IS fun together with Science Saturdays!

These will be held in July and August, sign up for just 1 month or both!


SCIENCE SATURDAYS IN JULY

Science Saturdays will take place on each of the following saturdays in July: 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th

11:00-11:50 for 4-7 year olds

12:00-12:50 for 8&up

Science Saturdays will take place on each of the following saturdays in August: 6th, 13th, 20th, &27th

11:00-11:50 for 4-7 year olds

12:00-12:50 for 8&up


Tuition For Science Saturdays: *EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT* If you enroll before June 1st: 30.00 for 4 weeks of classes +10.00 for entire months worth of supplies!

After June 1st: 40.00 for 4 weeks of Classes +10.00 for entire months worth of supplies

LIFT classes starting

I am very excited to begin teaching LIFT classes starting in February

I came up with the idea of offering a class for children in which they really are being enriched.
What does ENRICH really mean? The dictionary defines it as the following:
  1. To make fuller, more meaningful, or more rewarding:
  2. To add to the beauty or character of someone
  3. to make better or improve in quality
My vision for LIFT is all of that and more.

More than merely memorizing facts, and filling out worksheets, I hope LIFT will make learning come alive to each child participating.

I have found in my own life that when learning is made fun and interesting I not only enjoy it, but I learn better, faster, and am more enthusiastic about it.

I want to use fun and hands-on activities, experiments, discussions etc - so what we learn about in class- becomes more real to everyone.

That's why i call it LIFT- Learning Is Fun Together.

I can't wait to see all that God has in store for this class, and all the families involved.

My plan is to keep classes very small so that we can all get involved and have it very personalized.
Each class will meet once a week and last for 2 hours. All classes are scheduled for the afternon so this is an opportunity for those who are homeschooled and for those who attend school.

What we do in classes

Program Content includes…

Science- Hands-on learning about the basics of God's creation. Everyone will enjoy it - from explosive chemistry experiments to learning the laws of thermodynamics with jumping frogs - all taught with a Christian world view and everyday application.

History- using facts, stories, discussion, great literature, drama and fun activities we'll get to know the great events and great people, that have made and changed history. And continually see how God’s hand has woven it all together.

Math- Through games and energetic activities (and lots of fun), LIFT will reinforce basic math principles and hone speed and mastery of math facts.

Bible study: We will be studying directly from the Bible, but Biblical truths will be taught in every single subject

Phonics and reading skills (for readers and non-readers) We will work on speed and mastery of phonics and decoding skills. At LIFT we will focus on improving reading comprehension and the ability to articulate what has been read. Who knew reading could be this much FUN????

Art and music: Not only will we introduce them to the great masters and works of art and music, but also give them the opportunity to try different art styles on their own and listen and discuss beautiful music. But our most important goal is to instill in them a love and appreciation of art and music.
